If we aim to effectively address critical issues like healthcare, poverty, population control, unemployment, and human rights, the most powerful starting point is education for underprivileged children. Education not only opens the doors to a secure and self-reliant future but also shapes children into responsible national and global citizens. At Odisha Juba Prasikshyan Trust, we firmly believe that education is the foundation for lasting change. Through our grassroots initiatives across Odisha, we strive to reach children who are most in need—those who are often left behind due to poverty, social barriers, or lack of access. Although the Right to Education (RTE) Act, enforced in 2010, made education free and compulsory for all children aged 6 to 14, millions still struggle to access quality learning.

What We Do

At OJPT, we believe that education is the first step toward breaking the cycle of poverty and building a brighter, more equitable future. Our education initiatives are designed to reach underserved children and youth across Odisha—especially in rural, tribal, and low-income communities—ensuring they receive the knowledge, skills, and confidence they need to succeed.
