As part of Cyclothon 2025, participants marked the occasion with a strong commitment to environmental conservation and sustainable living. Beginning from MPC Autonomous College, Baripada, and concluding at L.K. College, Bangriposi, the journey was more than a cycling expedition—it was a movement to raise awareness about protecting our planet. The highlight of the day was a Tree Plantation Drive conducted under the Save Environment Campaign, where participants actively contributed to creating a greener and healthier future. The initiative emphasized the importance of individual and collective responsibility in addressing environmental challenges. Through tree plantation, awareness-building, and community participation, the event encouraged people to adopt eco-friendly practices and become active stewards of nature. On 1st June 2025, Odisha Juba Prashikhyana Trust (OJPT), in collaboration with NCC Group Headquarters and 7 Odisha NCC Battalion, visited Gandhi Odisha Balashram to support and uplift orphaned children through a day filled with care, learning, and meaningful engagement. The initiative included the distribution of study kits, interactive activities, shared meals, and moments of joy that brought smiles to the children’s faces. More than just a visit, the event was a heartfelt effort to inspire confidence, encourage education, and create a sense of belonging among the young residents. Demonstrating its commitment to community service and social responsibility, OJPT Trust organized its annual Jalachatra programme to provide free drinking water to commuters, workers, and local residents during the intense summer season. The initiative aimed to offer relief from the scorching heat while promoting the values of compassion and humanitarian service.   Students, trainers, and volunteers actively participated in the water distribution drive, ensuring that hundreds of people received clean and refreshing drinking water. The programme reflected OJPT’s belief that small acts of kindness can make a meaningful difference in the lives of others. “Empowered women empower communities — and together, they create a brighter future for all.”
